Núria Tamarit is an illustrator and comic artist based in Valencia, Spain. Her eclectic influences and interests have helped to shape a rich graphic universe of suggestive textures and vibrant colors. In it stand out the fantastic elements, the voluptuous plant forms, the dream creatures and reign their characteristic powerful female characters. Some of her latest books are Dos Monedas (La Cúpula Ediciones), Géante (Delcourt), Le conte du Genévrier (Les Aventuriers de L’Étrange) and Season of the Witch (Nobrow), Loba Boreal (La Cúpula), Myths, Mummies and Magic in Ancient Egypt (Big Picture Press), Salir del Laberinto (Inuk Books) and Ecotopias (Astiberri). Her work has been featured in diferent platforms and media through international clients such as Le Monde Diplomatique, GVA or Google. Núria divides her time between graphic novel and illustration commissions, teaching, personal projects in the form of self-publishing and eco-feminist activism collaborating with various social organizations and environmentalists in the country.
