All of Nitya’s artworks are about a character she likes to call Bub. It is a sarcastic character development that taps onto individualistic quirks that are present in everyone. It’s kooky, it's humorous, a Bub simply translates into a friend. It is the viewer and the protagonist of its story, a part of everyone, it is me and it is you. Nitya’s work speaks about the correlation of things she sees and observes and a manifestation of these things in herself. Her empathetic responses to occurrences fuel her will to make her art, irrespective of how it's perceived, and she likes to put her character as the speaker of and for her thoughts. All she’s saying is her piece of mind, peacefully.
