Marta Leshak is an illustrator and graphic designer from small town Kolomyia, based in Lviv. In 2015 graduated from Lviv Politechnic. Currently works as a lead illustrator in the Books&Cartoons team.

Marta is amazed by folk visual culture that serves as a source of inspiration for her projects. The interpretation and stylization of folk motifs is a key theme in her work. After the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, Marta considers it critical to create not just visual artworks, but use her work as a tool to raise crucial issues.
