Karla Čurčinski is a visual artist, illustrator and designer. Born in 1993 in Zagreb, Croatia, where she lives and works. She graduated in 2017 and has a MA in Applied Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. She spent the winter semester of 2015/2016 at Ulster University, Belfast, Northern Ireland, where she studied illustration and design. She knows the meaning of life but can’t retell a good joke. She walks on the sea as if it were the ground and the Sun is her favourite star. In addition, she has a distinct fear of insects who wander off to her room.
