Belén lives in Rome. She was born in the north of Spain in a small town called León. She graduated in Performing Arts in London where she lived for four years. Her journey in illustration has always been a constant struggle with colors and textures. She has tried many techniques and many styles until she started to see illustration as a tool for communicating. In her illustrations (inspired mainly by children illustrated books) she paints mostly animals and likes to share curiosities about the animals, and maybe even some information that can create some awareness in the viewer.
