From Delhi, India, Aadya is an advertising strategist by day and an after-hours artist. As her job involves a deep exploration into people's behavior and their everyday lives, she aims to extend the same to her art. For her, art is an exercise in mindfulness- stretching and soaking in small moments and translating all their depth and gentle glory onto a 2D surface. While formerly her art remained shyly restricted to tucked-away sketchbooks and cards for friends, the 2020 lockdown pushed her to create and share more in an attempt to make meaning of a complicated world and more importantly, herself.
